About

Ultimate Spider-Man is an action-adventure game based on the comic series of the same name. Players can control either Spider-Man or Venom, each with distinct abilities and combat styles. The game features encounters with various characters from the Spider-Man universe and uses a visual style influenced by the comic’s creators.

Storyline

Set within the Ultimate Marvel universe and based on the acclaimed comic book of the same name, Ultimate Spider-Man picks up three months after the events of the Venom storyline. Players explore an open-world rendition of Manhattan and Queens while the tale alternates between two very different perspectives. As the web-slinging hero Spider-Man, teenager Peter Parker digs into the sinister dealings of Trask Industries, seeking to unravel the company's ties to the creation of the Venom symbiote and, more personally, to the mysterious deaths of his own parents. Meanwhile, players also take control of Venom, the hulking symbiote-bound Eddie Brock, who struggles with an insatiable hunger and must constantly evade the relentless efforts of Bolivar Trask to recapture him and harness the symbiote's power. As the two intertwined storylines cross and collide across the city, a darker conspiracy surrounding the symbiote and Parker's past gradually comes to light.
