About

In Deadpool the player takes control of the loud-mouthed, foul-mouthed, merc-with-a-mouth Wade Wilson (a.k.a. Deadpool). While on out on a contract to kill a corrupt media mogul, Mister Sinister intervenes and kills him instead, drawing the ire of Deadpool who then vows revenge only to stumble upon a bigger plot which could spell the end of humanity. With the help of some of the X-Men such as Wolverine, Rogue and Domino along with a buddy from the future, Cable, they band together to stop Mister Sinister and his group of Marauders (Arclight, Blockbuster and Vertigo) from succeeding.

Storyline

The Merc with a Mouth takes center stage in his own gleefully self-aware adventure. Lounging in his grubby apartment, Deadpool receives word that the developers at High Moon Studios have rejected his pitch for what he insists would be the most awesome game ever made, one starring himself, naturally. Never one to take no for an answer, Deadpool rigs the studio with explosives and blackmails the team into making it anyway, even strong-arming his own voice actor into the role. Handed a script he promptly defaces with a red crayon, the unhinged mercenary sets off on his first assignment: to hunt down and assassinate the corrupt media mogul Chance White. His trademark carnage soon draws the attention of far more dangerous villains, dragging him into a chaotic plot that spirals well beyond a simple hit.
